A Quick Run to Crosswinds Marsh - 09 Jun 2017

Robin and made a short trip out to Crosswinds Marsh this evening just after today's storms passed through. Winds had died, and temps are now gloriously warm. The Bullfrogs were enjoying the evening (I couldn't find them among the waterlilies, though).

Eastern Kingbirds were busily gathering nest material, using cattail down.

Barn Swallows are nesting at the pagoda and made for some nice portraits.

Song Sparrows were active, as well. A fly-by Swamp Sparrow was a treat. Yellow Warblers were all over, but uncooperative.

Yellow Warblers do seem to enjoy being uncooperative!
